| Company Profile |
| The ‘North West Academy of English’
is a British Council accredited English language school and
the single largest hosting organisation for students participating
in Leonardo da Vinci projects in Northern Ireland. The company
was established in 2003 by John McGowan, currently the Managing
Director of North West Academy of English and Laura Giacani
Project manager of the North West Academy. The North West
Academy has been operating for over 3 years and has hosted
over 1200 overseas students from Italy, Spain, France, Portugal,
Estonia, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Sweden and the Basque
Region. We provide a ‘one-stop shop’ for all of
our partners and students handling every component of the
project. We look after the arrival, induction, language, accommodation,
travel, social programme, food allowances, work placements
(when applicable) and airport transfers. |
| |
| The company was launched with the initial objective of
working as a host on behalf of the ‘Leonardo Da Vinci’
project. However, due to the vast amount of experience and
knowledge that the NWA staff has acquired, it is currently
developing and facilitating new services. |
| |
| Furthermore the North West Academy has recently obtained
the British Council accreditation. View the website. |
