


The NW Academy has been working as a hosting organisation for European projects since the company began in 2003. We have also managed various projects for Northern Ireland.
OUTGOING
EU Training I , EU Training II and EU Training III.
The EU Training I. EU Training II & EU Training III projects aimed at young students attending colleges of further and higher education in Northern Ireland. These funded projects provided students with the opportunity to travel to Spain, France or Finland to complete a short language and cultural preparation course before undertaking a work placement in a European company. The projects provided college students in Northern Ireland with a valuable opportunity to develop their skills and cultural awareness.
Developing Expertise in the EU.
The Developing Expertise in the EU project was a joint initiative with partners in Italy, The Netherlands and Finland. The project allowed professionals working in the intercultural education and integration of migrants field the opportunity to visit one of the partner countries to learn about new approaches to dealing with integration. The project provided a valuable networking and learning opportunity for anyone working with migrants or internationals.
Creating a Steady Mobility Partnership.
This Partnership project aimed to the establishment of a steady partnership for mobility projects. The partner countries involved: Italy, Poland, Latvia and Northern Ireland. For more info please contact: info@northwestacademy.net

This Partnership project aimed to identify new tools to improve communication between Promoter, intermediary Organisations and Hosting organisation, to identify contents for future training for beneficiaries of mobility projects and to have a better understaing of best practices related to mobility projects. TACTIC
The objective of this project was to find tools for managing and mentoring the international work placements in order to guarantee the recognition of the competences acquired and the quality of the learning process. Partner countries involved in the project: Italy, Spain, Poland, Portugal, Austria and Northern Ireland. The Tactic Manual is now availible in different languages. Leonardo Da Vinci and Mobility Projects
The North West Academy of English began hosting mobility exchange students in 2003 and since has become the single largest host of Leonardo Da Vinci exchange students in Northern Ireland.

We want to congratulate the school Zespol Szkol Handlowych in Katowice for the success of thier projects. North West Academy hosted a total of 65 people from this school and it was a success for each of them.
