The city of Derry, also known as Londonderry, is situated on the banks of the River Foyle in the North West Of Ireland. Derry is the fourth largest city in Ireland with a population of over 125,000. It is a historical and cultural city. There is also a college and university located in the city so it is the perfect destination for international students.

 

Derry has a thriving tourism industry and more and more visitors are discovering the delights of this compact and beautiful city. The city is located in one of Northern Ireland’s most beautiful regions and is a joyful regional centre. There are a variety of festivals and special events organised in the city throughout the year so students will have the experience of a lifetime.
